FESCO peak and off-peak hours for a complete year are given as below:

Additional tariff charges shall be applied and the unit price increases in the peak hours. Consumers should turn-off the extra appliances to reduce the electricity consumption in the peak hour timings to reduce the FESCO bill amount.

Consumers of FESCO region should follow the below tips to avoid extra billing amounts during the peak hours:
- Turn off all the extra lights, equipments, devices and appliances in the peak hours, when not in use.
- Avoid to install conventional lights in the home or offices, instead LED lights are preferable.
- Use the appropriate size of capacitor for the electrical motors and fans.
